Call for Rural Women in Business Workshop Leaders

A nationwide search is on for regionally based individuals, businesses and not for profit organisations to host workshops as part of Rural Women in Business Week – 2004.
Rural Women in Business Week runs from 18 – 25 August.
Event convenor, Jo Eady, Director of rural consultancy, RuralScope Pty Limited said the search is on for workshop leaders right across Australia who would like to conduct a workshop in their town or region. Materials and how to and help with promoting the workshop are all supplied.
Rural Women in Business Week will see workshops conducted in regional locations as well as teleconference and on line learning activities. These will be accessible to all women in business regardless of where they work or live.
“With approximately one third of businesses being run by women and with estimated income derived from Australian rural business women being in the order of $1.2 billion per annum, an event such as Rural Women in Business Week is long overdue”, said Ms Eady.
