WA Govt funds for organic industry
28 Aug 2003

The Western Australian Government has granted $60,000 in funding for a development project examining WA's organic and biodynamic industry. The project aims to encourage, promote and support the sustainable development of agriculture in the state's south.

The WA Regional Initiatives Scheme provided the grant as part of the $75 million Regional Investment Fund, which supports economic diversity and sustainable development in regional areas of WA.

The grant will enable the employment of a business development officer and industry development officer to provide advisory services in the South-West, Peel and Great Southern regions.

Farm Weekly, 28/8/03.
