AMP to sell Cooplacurripa Station
29 Sep 2003

AMP has put another of its pastoral holdings up for sale: the cattle property Cooplacurripa Station. The property covers 22,560 hectares in the Manning Valley at the back of the mid-north coast of New South Wales.

Landmark and Elders in Sydney are handling the sale. The asking price is $9.5 million without stock, but the purchaser has the option to buy about $4 million worth of cattle as well.

The property spreads across three river valleys, low hills and a basalt plateau about 86 kilometres west of Taree. It's a 4-hour drive from Sydney. There are seven cottages and three cattle yards. The stock numbers about 8,000.

Australian Financial Review, 29/9/03.
