There's a 60 per cent chance of hotter than normal daytime temperatures for the next three months in NSW's north-east and most parts of Queensland, and a near 80 per cent chance of hotter than normal daytime temperatures for the south-east quarter of Queensland.
There's also a 60 per cent to 70 per cent chance of warmer than average nights for most of the country, covering all eastern states, South Australia and the north of WA.
Normal rainfall patterns are expected across most of NSW, Victoria, southern Queensland, Tasmania, SA, southern parts of WA and the Northern Territory. There's a 60-70 per cent chance of above average rainfall for the Kimberleys in WA, most of northern Queensland and the northern areas of the NT. Some parts of Victoria's coastline and Tasmania's north-east also have a 60 per cent chance of above-average rainfall.
