Dairy Farmers in major restructure plan
30 Jun 2004

New South Wales co-operative Dairy Farmers will undergo a major restructuring, following an 85 per cent shareholder vote of approval. The company will be split into two: a manufacturing arm, Australian Co-operative Foods, and a supply co-operative comprising 20 per cent of the company.

Dairy Farmers' chairman Ian Langdon said the second stage of the restructuring would involve the corporatisation of ACF so that it could be listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. This would require further approval from shareholders.

Weekly Times, 30/6/04, page 4.
