Cotton looks promising

A more positive trend in cotton prices and some recent rains have triggered renewed interest in dryland cotton. John Marshall, CSD development agronomist said the Darling Downs achieved a yield of two bales per acre over 35,000 hectares last year. He said in NSW, with a lower rainfall, stressed cotton crops lowered yield and quality.
