Rain on the grain leaves farmers still in pain
8 Sep 2004

Grain growers are 10 days away from hitting the wall, in spite of good rains a fortnight ago. Hard made his downbeat forecast following the release by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics of their estimate that the dry winter would reduce this year’s winter haverst by two million tonnes.
