Frosts dampen wheat forecast
22 Sep 2004

Australian Wheat Forecasting, cut its national estimate for this year’s crop to 24.7 million tonnes, a fall in the crop estimate of one million tonnes in a week, and the second reduction in the estimate this month. Frosts in Western Australia’s wheat belt in mid September will cut production.
