AQIS cracks wheat export scam

Quarantine authorities delayed a shipment of 20,000 tonnes of Australian wheat from Fremantle to Indonesia. The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service discovered the exporter applied to export cracked wheat, but testing showed the shipment was more than 50 per cent whole wheat. Only AWB Limited has the right to export whole wheat through its single desk wheat marketing monopoly.
