Lamb no longer so prime

Lamb prices have taken a tumble from the buoyant levels in the middle of the year, with saleyard values dropping by around 30 per cent. The National Livestock Reporting Service says prices peaked around 540 cents a kilo in July, and reduced gradually to around 360 cents at the moment.
