Fertiliser prices take off
14 Oct 2004

Fertiliser prices have jumped by 50 per cent in four months. Worldwide demand and supply shortages in the US have led to the price hike. World fertiliser prices have been rising steadily all year with urea prices jumping 50 per cent to $US240 a tonne, up from around $US160 a tonne earlier this year.
