Woolclassers get $80 per week pay rise 25 Oct 2004
The Industrial Relations Commission granted the Wool Classers Association a pay rise of $80 a week, rather than the $100 a week requested. Duncan Fraser from the National Farmers Federation says the claim was greedy, and the IRC decision is a clear win for growers. The Woolclassers Association says it's the big winner, and the pay rise will actually help ease a shortage of classers.
