Barley prices improve
8 Nov 2004

Production may be in decline due to the dry conditions, but one result is that prices are rising. ABB Grain said the indicator price for South Australian malting 1 barley pool would increase by $7 a tonne to between $182 and $192 a tonne, while the feed 1 barley pool indicator price would rise by $10 a tonne to $140 to $150 a tonne.
