Wine exports bubble over
24 Nov 2004

Wine exports increased by 12 per cent in the September 2004 quarter, to a record $725 million. Wine exporters are trying to tap increased demand in Europe and North America as growth in domestic sales slows. Sales to Britain, the biggest market for Australian wine, increased by 17 per cent; exports to Germany increased by 34 per cent and exports to the USA rose by 19 per cent.
