Cotton yields reach record
30 Mar 2005

Cotton farmers in northern New South Wales are looking at record yields this season, despite mostly dry conditions. The farmers are aiming to produce yields of 12 bales per hectare. About three quarters of this year’s cotton crop was sowed with Bolgard II, a genetically modified variety sold by Monsanto.
