Lamb exports reach a new record

Lamb exports reached record levels in March 2005 quarter. Department of Agriculture data shows lamb exports for the first three months of 2005 totalled 32,100 tonnes. The US continues to be the largest single export market for Australian lamb.
Exports to China increased by 43 per cent but exports to Europe fell 27 per cent.
