Olive oil glut in sight
21 Apr 2005

Olive oil producers in Australia are headed for over-supply in three to four years unless they lift exports, a study by Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation concluded. More than 9.5 million olive trees have been planted in Australia since 1994 and production from new olive orchards will soon enter the market.
