NSW drought worse than 2002
16 May 2005

Preliminary findings from a survey of 250 farmers conducted by the NSW Farmers Association suggests that 10 per cent have been refused credit assistance from the bank. Eighty per cent of farmers said water availability was poor and that conditions were worse than 2002. More than 77 per cent hand fed sheep and 50 per cent hand fed cattle.
