Grain receivals weak for ABB
31 May 2005

ABB Grain said grain production in the 2004/05 season was well below average in South Australia and Victoria, with grain receivals into the storage and handling network of just 4.2 million tonnes, compared to the five year average of around six million tonnes. ABB said that looking ahead to the 2005/06 season, while the dry start to this year is not ideal there was still time for the new season to turn around.
