Riverland packing sheds declared free of fruit fly 15 Jun 2005
Citrus growers delivering their product through 10 packing sheds in the Riverland district in South Australia have obtained easier access for exports to Japan. The growers won’t have to undertake cold-storage treatment to eliminate fruit flies. Japanese quarantine authorities have issued standards and detailed rules approving market access for Riverland citrus.
