Iraq says it may still buy Australian wheat

Peter McGauran, the federal minister for agriculture, said he received an assurance from the Iraqi government that wheat sales to Iraq would continue unimpeded. McGauran said that the Iraqi government said it would judge purchases of Australian wheat on its merits.
