Sheep and Goats to come under NLIS

The implementation of an identification and tracing system for the sheep and goat industries has been allocated $2.5 million in federal funding for the next three years. The extension of the National Livestock Identification System is aimed at enabling quicker responses to national pest or disease emergencies.
