9 Jan 2006

Meat and Livestock Australia has raised the Cattle Transaction Levy from $3.50 to $5.00 to fund new domestic and overseas marketing initiatives including the launch of a premium Australian beef brand in Japan. Other initiatives will target the US, Korea, South East Asia/Chinas and boosting the live export trade from northern Australia into Asia.
