Telstra offers handset switch
24 Jan 2008

Telstra has said that it will issue replacement handsets to customers who have switched from CDMA to the NextG network that are not happy with their reception. Spokesman Jeremy Mitchell said that the company has already started replacing some handsets but stressed that complaints were being assessed on a case by case basis. While Telstra offers 34 handsets that can be used on the new network, seven of those carry a "blue tick" logo that means they are more suited for use in regional and rural areas.
