Grazing properties up for grabs
18 Feb 2008

Three of the biggest and best grazing properties in the country are up for sale and are expected to fetch a combined $100 million. Wollogorang Station in the Northern Territory is Australia's longest continually settled cattle station and is expected to sell for as much as $50 million, while Scheelite in King Island is asking $18 million and the Sheraco Group in South Australia is after $20 million. Wollogorang is 705,700 hectares running along 80 kilometres of coastline in the Gulf, can run up to 50,000 head of cattle and receives 94 centimetres of rain every year.
