Telstra stands by NextG network 26 Feb 2008
Telstra has said that it is undertaking more than a dozen initiatives to address concerns about its NextG network in a formal agreement released yesterday. While the company has said that it will give unhappy customers "every reasonable opportunity" to have problems fixed it insists that even if an external antenna is required on a phone it is still delivering a like-for-like service comparable to the CDMA network. Telstra is starting an accreditation program for its retail stores to ensure that customers are getting the best advice, however only 70 per cent of all its shop-fronts will be accredited by the end of March which is only one month before the old network will be shut down.
