Dairy gets a shake
20 May 2008

The Australian dairy industry faces major changes with all the largest dairy companies involved in takeovers, either as bidders or targets. Parmalat and the Murray-Goulburn co-operative have joined forces to make a bid for NSW-based Dairy Co-op which National Foods and Fonterra have already signalled their interest in. Dairy Farmers put itself up for sale in March and has also attracted bids from companies in Canada and Singapore.
