Chief executive Gordon Davis said that AWB is quite small on a global scale and would be able to compete more effectively with larger international companies through finding synergies and making structural improvements. Mr Davis said that AWB's strength was its strong heritage of contact with farmers and that was evident in the performance of its Landmark division.
