Top agriculture performance expected to continue
18 Jun 2008

Agribusinesses are among the best performing stocks on the Australian Stock Exchange according to the Commonwealth Bank. Agriculture delivered returns of 37 per cent over the past year, compared with a fall of 8.6 per cent on the broader market. The outlook for the year ahead is also good for listed agriculture stocks, which are expected to perform 11 per cent above the market. CBA ranks agriculture shares with energy, materials and health care as the best performers on risk adjusted basis.
