Water funding made available
23 Jun 2008

Irrigators can apply for grants from the federal government of up to $500,000 to develop plans to update and improve ageing water infrastructure. The second round of funding comes available amide predictions that parts of the Murray River will be irreversibly dead within six months. The minister for water also announced a traveling water awareness exhibition.
