Evidence of lamb substitution wanted

Anyone with evidence that hogget and mutton were being substituted for lamb in Victorian meat processing plants should inform PrimeSafe or the police says the state's meat industry regulator PrimeSafe Victoria. Senator Bill Heffernan and some NSW processors have made allegations before a senate committee that substitution was common in Victoria. PrimeSafe said Victoria's procedures were robust.
