Farmers can''t get fertiliser

Farmers are having trouble accessing fertiliser with many complaining about high prices and breach of contracts from the big fertiliser companies. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is due to report on the industry by the 31 July, but the ACCC chairman is rejecting calls for the competition watchdog to investigate concentration of the industry and lack of competition. Incitec Pivot have 60 per cent of the Australian market.
