May a better month for dairy
16 Jul 2008

Milk production Australia-wide was up about five per cent for May but overall production is down for the season. Dairy Australia''s latest figures, released last week, revealed the nation''s milk supply was down 4.6 per cent to about 8.5 billion litres from June last year to the end of May. Victoria and Tasmania were the only states to produce more milk during May, compared with last year.
