New grain trader launches

Online grain broker Clear Holdings will be launched today in Melbourne to take advantage of the abolition of the wheat single desk. Clear will offer online clearing, contract execution and payments services for grain growers as well as harvest and inventory finance through Clear''s preferred provider of financial services, which has not yet been chosen. Clear is currently negotiating with three banks to provide financial services to its customers. Clear is a private company and will be fully operational by September
