Sales driven by fears of dry spring
28 Aug 2008

Summer crops need rain in the next two weeks if the summer crop is to be saved. The Grains Council says the wheat crop is very much in the balance. The bureau of meteorology says there is a forty per cent chance of exceeding average rainfall over the next three months. Fears of another dry spring have pushed more stock to markets in recent weeks. Sales in Wagga, Dubbo and Bendigo have been well supported by buyers and sellers.
