Dairy Farmers sells sell out
29 Aug 2008

Dairy Farmers will address its milk supplier shareholders on a satellite hook up to 25 pubs and clubs around Australia on Monday. The former co-operative will then send its chairman and its CEO on a national roadshow with senior executives from National Foods to promote the case for voting yes to the National Foods takeover bid. Some active milk suppliers are angry that farmers who have left the co-op will be receiving about one third of the proceeds of the sale under agreements dating from the restructure in 2004.
