Victoria offers Christmas cheer to NSW 10 Dec 2007
Christmas tree crops in NSW have been hit by the drought and are 75 per cent below normal. Victorian growers are making the most of the season with some planning to export over 10,000 trees to NSW and thousands to Queensland. Aldo Iuele from the Xmas Tree Farm in Daylesford said that he has sent more than 5,000 trees to NSW each year for the past three years and said that it could hit 10,000 this year.
