ABARE to downgrade wheat forecast
17 Jun 2008

ABARE is expected to downgrade forecasts for the wheat harvest today. NAB said the crop in 2008/09 could rise to 24 million tonnes from 13 million tonnes this year. NAB on Monday also downgraded its forecast for Australia's total winter crop for 2008/09 by 5 per cent to 37 million tonnes.
