AWB lifts pool price
1 Mar 2005

AWB lifted its estimate of returns from sales of its benchmark wheat type for the crop year ending in March 2005. AWB estimates its benchmark new crop Australian Premium White type wheat sold through its Number 1 pool would return $199 a tonne. Estimates of returns from most other collective sales pools rose in a range of $2 to $5 a tonne. AWB left its estimated pool return for benchmark wheat grown for the next crop year in a range between $170 million and $180 million.
