Feds ease paperwork for drought relief
15 Apr 2005

Federal and state agriculture ministers said they would simplify the process for the determination of whether a farming region qualified for drought assistance. The process will now relate mainly to recent weather conditions and analysis of the agricultural producers of a region, and reduce the paperwork associated with seeking subsidies.
