Cubbie wants to expand into grains 30 Jun 2008
Australia''s biggest cotton producer Cubbie Group is considering an initial public offering *or* a private placement of share to fund expansion plans. Cubbie Station is a significant water user in the Murray Darling Basin and is looking to diversify into wheat, soy beans and other agricultural products. Cubbie may raise up to $200 million from overseas investors to fund the plans.
