Goulburn water prices double in three months
14 Nov 2006

The price of water in the Goulburn system reached $605 per megalitre last week, up $50 a week and twice the price of water in August. On the Murray Valley system between Hume and Barmah the price of water is $308/Ml. Water allocations in the system are at 23 per cent and irrigators may buy water rights from other farmers.
