Queensland flood victims to receive aid
25 Jan 2008

The federal government has announced compensation payments for communities in Queensland that are affected by the flood. People in the 72 per cent of the state which has been declared as a disaster area will be eligible to apply for relief. Individuals will be able to apply for grants up to $10,000 and businesses up to $25,000 to assist recovery from the floodwaters.
