Liberal defects to oppose wheat bill

The Wheat Export Marketing bill is expected to pass the parliament this week despite a prominent Liberal backbencher bucking the party line and joining with the Nationals to oppose it. Five hundred protestors rallied outside parliament house yesterday and a few disrupted proceedings in the chamber.
