Queensland agriculture plan gets support from farm lobby
26 Jun 2008

The Queensland Farmers' Federation and AgForce have welcomed state government plans to triple agricultural output by 2020 through new research and training initiatives. The state's five major agricultural colleges will be moved to the Department of Primary Industries. The plan, known as "A Fresh Approach" was unveiled on Tuesday and also involves attracting investment into agricultural science and revamping government service delivery.
