Murray Darling deal signed
4 Jul 2008

The Prime Minister and state premiers meeting at the Council of Australian Governments have signed a new deal on the Murray Darling Basin. The deal will see $3.7 billion in new money for water projects in Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia. The PM said the deal was difficult but historic.
