More bad news coming for Futuris
7 Jul 2008

Changed tax treatment of horticultural investment schemes is the major reason for the problems that have beset Futuris. Integrated Tree Cropping, a Futuris subsidiary, has about one third of the market in forestry schemes and has been hit hardest by the tax changes. Analysts say the worst is yet to come for ITC, with much of the lost revenue not due to show until the second financial year.
