AWB execs ask court to delay action

Former executives of AWB have asked the Victorian Supreme Court to delay ASIC''s civil action against them until after possible criminal action is finalised. An Australian federal Police taskforce is investigating the former chairman Trevor Flugge, former managing director Andrew Lindberg and four other directors over their involvement in the Iraqi bribes affair. The men face financial penalties and bars from company directorships if found guilt by the court. The hearing continues.
