Grocery Watch idea is flawed

The federal government''s proposed Grocery Watch scheme will favour discount retailer Aldi and ignore discounted prices in the major retail chains said the big retailers. The Assistant Treasurer is expected to announce a national grocery price survey initiative this week following the release of the ACCC inquiry into competition in the grocery industry.
