Climate change grants for farmers
11 Aug 2008

Farmers can access grants of up to $1,500 per year to attend approved training courses aimed at helping them to adapt to climate change. Farm groups and associations will be able to apply for up to $A80,000 a year to help members adopt to climate change. The $A26.5 million FarmReady fund, launched on 30 July is part of the Government''s $A130 million Australia''s Farming Future program.
